A Brief History

The Founder's Story
Founded in 2018 by Olasunkami Opeifa, Phenomenon-Edu Impact began as the Phenomenon Readers Club, to promote a reading culture among students in the community. In the aftermath of the pandemic lockdown, it became evident that many students were struggling with basic literacy skills. This realization led to the creation of the Phenomenon Literacy Project, aimed at addressing the growing issue of illiteracy.
In 2021, the project gained significant support from Miria Partners, who provided Lexplore, an innovative artificial intelligence tool designed to assess students' reading abilities and offer tailored interventions. Building on this momentum, Phenomenon-Edu Impact was formally established, with a focus on literacy education, teacher training, the donation of digital learning hubs to schools, and the provision of financial aid to deserving students.

Our vision is a world where every individual, regardless of their socioeconomic background, has access to high-quality education. At Phenomenon-Edu Impact, we are committed to creating modern, technology-driven learning environments that inspire innovation, creativity, and critical thinking. Through our teacher training programs, we equip educators with the tools and knowledge they need to deliver exceptional learning experiences to their students. We are also dedicated to reducing educational inequality through our financial aid program, ensuring that deserving students can pursue their academic goals. With initiatives like the Phenomenon Literacy Project, we are working tirelessly to eradicate illiteracy and empower future generations.
